Which plants are best for implanting cannabinoids? Lactobacillus and other similar bacteria One of the best candidates is lactobacillus. This is the bacteria used to produce yogurt, cheese, sauerkraut, pickles, beer, wine, and other fermented foods. Bacteria can be easily modified to accept new genetic material. Yeast Yeast could also be a good candidate. It is fairly easy to insert genetic material and it reproduces easily. It also offers some interesting possibility for delivering the medicine. It could be used to produce all flavors of bread. If it was used to produce alcohol, as in wine production, it offers the potential for some easy extraction methods for the active ingredients. Plants that produce essential oils The best candidates for plants are plants that produce essential oils or terpenoids. Some examples of these plants are spearmint, peppermint, citrus, cinnamon or ginger.
