HOT BATHS FOR DRUG USERS

State Reformatory for Women Has Novel Treatment.

BEDFORD, N.Y., March 8--- Announcing that ten addicts have applied for treatment at the State Reformatory for Women at Bedford, necessitating the reopening of the clinic for drug users, officials there disclosed today that they are giving them from fifteen to twenty hot water baths a day.

"We use baths to relieve the pain," said Superintendent Amos T. Baker. "We use water pretty freely."
