Here are the preliminary responses to our 1997 Iowa
Legislative Survey combined with the responses from our
1994 and 1995 surveys. These results contain only
the responses from incumbent candidates for the Iowa
Legislature. Some of these incumbents may lose
their seats in the November election. The results
of our survey will not be final until after the election.
