Detroit Organizational Needs in Treatment
(DONT)
Methadone Today's grant has been turned down by the Drug
Policy Foundation this year. They have generously given us a set-aside
grant to help us until we can become fully self supporting. However,
we will not be able to survive if those who visit the web site and receive
the newsletter do not contribute.
We are a patient-run organization dedicated to harm reduction,
helping patients achieve quality methadone treatment, preservation of patient
dignity, providing greater public understanding, and elimination of discrimination
toward methadone patients. Toward that end, won't you please help us cover
printing & mailing costs of the newsletter, the methadone library,
and maintaining the web site. No one takes any wage or salary for
the work we do; however, the printers, office supply stores, and others
do insist on being paid.
The annual subscription fee for Methadone
Today is $12.00 for patient subscription or $25.00 for clinic/institution
subscription (for more information
and options); however, any additional donation is greatly appreciated.
Please give what you can--$50, $25, $10, $5, postage stamps or any other
amount you can spare. Thank you for your support!
By donating now, you will start receiving our newsletter
monthly and be helping to educate others on this very important, but misunderstood,
medication. We also help patients with individual problems
when possible.
Please send your name, address and $12 for a yearly subscription to
Methadone Today.
Back issues of Methadone Today are $10 per volume for Volume
I, II, or III. If ordering all III volumes, send $25.
