Anslinger Heads Narcotic Bureau.

WASHINGTON, Sept. 23 (AP) -- Harry J. Anslinger, acting commissioner of narcotics, today was appointed commissioner by President Hoover and will head the newly-created Bureau of Narcotics in the Treasury. He has been in government service many years. The new Bureau of Narcotics was established by Congress last Spring.
