Canada Prescription
It is a very well known fact that prescription medication prices in the United States are skyrocketing. That is why many people have begun turning to Canada for their prescription. There are hundreds of websites that offer Canadian pharmacy assistance, and claim that they can provide the same exact medication for people at a fraction of the cost. The numbers are staggering. A commonly prescribed drug can cost sometimes more than half less than what the cost is in the United States. Because of that fact, people all over the country are seeking out a Canadian prescription.
Sometimes, this process is much harder than it may seem, so people simply use their US doctor’s prescription to buy drugs from Canada. The process is fairly simple. Most people can see a price list from a Canadian website, choose the drugs they need, then fax in the prescription directly to the pharmacy. Once completed, the order is officially placed, and the drugs are mailed straight to the customer’s doorstep.
On average, it takes about one week for the drugs to arrive at your home. Because shipping from Canada may take a few days longer than within the US, it’s advised that you order your medication with ample time in between the older prescription running out. This way, if there are unforeseen delays, you have enough medicine to last until the new medicine arrives. It is a fact that the cost of drugs in the United States are the highest in the entire world. Our neighbors to the north have a universal healthcare system, and lower drug costs. Since Canada is so close, it’s tempting for US citizens to want to obtain the same medications from there at a much cheaper price. This makes logical sense to most, and until the US government agrees upon a lower price for prescription drugs, people will continue to seek them out somewhere else like Canada.
