Hemp Bracelets
When most people think of hemp jewelry, the necklace is the first thing that comes to mind. But hemp bracelets are another popular choice that many people actually prefer to wear. Hemp bracelets are made essentially the same way that the necklaces are made by weaving hemp twine or rope into intricate knots and adding clasps on either end. The main difference between the two pieces of jewelry is the length and the thickness of the hemp. Most hemp bracelets are not made quite as thick as most necklaces, because overall bracelets are supposed to be a more delicate thing to wear. The bracelets can also be made to wear around the ankle (anklets) as well. Both hemp bracelets and necklaces can be made plain, or adorned with some sort of beads or charms.
Essentially the weaving process for hemp bracelets is very similar to that of the more traditional friendship bracelet. The patterns can be the same, or you can change it up a bit if you decide to make your own hemp bracelet. Look around and find some unique patterns and methods when it comes to tying the hemp twine into knots. Shop around at your local bead or arts and crafts store for some cool adornments. You can even make a lot of hemp bracelets and sell them at fairs, markets, or festivals. If only one bracelet is what you’re seeking, shop around or go online to find the coolest bracelet that fits your style. Wearing a hemp bracelet shows you support the environmentally friendly cultivation of hemp. By showing others that the material is harmless and at the same time beneficial to our world, you’re educating people about new ways of utilizing our earth’s natural materials. Hemp bracelets are a fun and fashionable way to make a bold statement.
