Hemp Clothes
Hemp is one of the most durable natural fibers known to man. The fibers in the hemp plant can be tightly woven together to make fabric. Hemp clothes are a great alternative to the traditional, cotton clothing that most people wear. First and foremost, hemp is much better for the environment than cotton. The way that hemp is grown requires less land mass, little to no pesticides, less water, and overall less damage to the environment. The fiber is all natural with no additives. Hemp clothes are soft, durable, and last for many years with little risk of rips and tears. The material is tough yet wearable and makes a great addition to any wardrobe. Hemp can be worn in both the summer and winter months, as it is very versatile and lightweight, yet dense enough to keep you warm in the cold winter air. Hemp clothes come in all sorts of colors, as it is easy to dye and takes hold of color quite well.
Some hemp clothes can be rather expensive and cost more than traditional clothing. This is largely because hemp clothes are much more rare and difficult to find. The other reason is that hemp is not a common material used in making clothing. If hemp were to become more widespread, the price of hemp clothes would certainly go down. Many environmentalists and fans of the material itself have been promoting the purchase of hemp clothing for many years. The benefits of hemp clothing go way beyond just comfort and long lasting wear. The cultivation of hemp for use in every day goods promotes a better environment and encourages new growth in the place of things such as cotton. Hemp clothes are a wonderful way to show support of this plant, as well as a way to wear something that will last and look great.
