Home Drug Test
Taking a home drug test is effective for various reasons. For starters, you may take a test to determine whether your body is free of traces of illegal drugs. Today, many employers are utilizing drug tests. Because of employee theft and other factors, random drug tests are perfect for pinpointing individuals with a drug addiction. In most cases, drug test are random and unannounced. However, some employers will announce an upcoming drug test. Thus, employees are given the opportunity to detoxify their bodies. The only foolproof method of detoxifying the body is to stop drug use. Fortunately, most drugs are undetectable after three days.
If required to take a drug test for work, a home drug test is effective with giving you an ideal of your chances of passing. Some employers are aware that employees may occasionally smoke marijuana or use other types of drugs while recreating. Thus, they are flexible when scheduling workplace drug tests. Upon stopping drug use, you can take a home drug test. If the test comes back negative, now is the time to schedule a drug test with your employer. It’s that simple. Of course, if your employer is not flexible, stopping the use of illegal drugs is your best alternative.
When taking a home drug test, the kit will test your body for five major drugs. These include cocaine, amphetamine, opiates, PCP, and marijuana. In rare instances, taking medications for colds and flu’s may cause a false positive on home drug tests. Moreover, prescription antibiotics may result in a false positive for cocaine. If taking over-the counter or prescription drugs, stop use before taking a drug test. In most cases, prescription and non-prescription drugs are no longer detected in the body after a few days. Home drug tests are also effective for screening teenagers and young adults for drug use.
