While the fibers of hemp have been use to weave clothing for many years, the oil from hemp has only recently been utilized to make a variety of body care products. Hemp oil soap is quickly becoming the soap of choice for the environmental or natural product enthusiast. The oil from hemp is one of the richest sources of natural omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, which makes it extremely rich in moisturizing properties. Hemp seed oil also makes excellent and effective massage oil as well. Hemp oil soap now comes in a great variety of scents and styles. It is also safe and effective to use on baby’s skin to keep it soft and smooth.
Hemp oil soap can be scented with other oils to make a great smelling bar of soap. Patchouli, sandalwood, lavender, ginger, and mint are some luxurious smells that make using hemp oil soap and even better experience. Typically a bar of the soap can cost anywhere from two to ten dollars per bar, depending on where it is purchased. Most of the time the soap is made on a smaller scale and is sold by independent shops that specialize in making bath and body care from hemp oil. This means the packaging is more unique and the soap is made by hand with love. Some claim that hemp oil soap can help with sunburn, acne scarring, stretch marks, wrinkles, and chapped skin, just to name a few. Its versatile moisturizing properties make it the prime material for making body cleansing products. Try some hemp oil soap and you’ll notice what a difference this naturally moisturizing plant can make.
