Discount Cialis
Cialis is a name brand drug marketed worldwide by Elli Lilly and Company for treatment of erectile dysfunction, also called impotence. The generic form of Cialis is tadalafil. Tadalafil became FDA approved and available by prescription in late 2003 following Viagra and Levitra as the third such prescription medication to treat erectile dysfunction. All three drugs are part of a class of drugs called phosphodiesterase inhibitors. Cialis and the generic tadalafil differ from other medications because the effect is clinically proven to last up to 36 hours.
Individuals wishing to treat the condition that Cialis was created for at a discounted rate might want to talk to their doctor or pharmacist about the generic form tadalafil since generic drugs are usually cheaper and insurance companies won’t necessarily cover the cost of either.
Cialis works by optimizing certain conditions that affect the flow of blood to the blood vessels. It is the increased flow of blood to the male genitalia that causes an erection. The dosage of Cialis is adjustable depending on adequacy of results. The starting dose is typically 10 mg and can be lowered to 5mg or increased to 20 mg depending on results. Cialis should be taken only once prior to engaging in sexual activity. It has been known to take effect in as soon as 30 minutes, but the results are intended to last up to 36 hours. The maximum dosage of tadalafil should not exceed 10mg in a 72-hour period.
Common side effects of Cialis (tadalafil) include headache, flushing, and nausea. Some patients using Cialis have reported a change in their vision, abnormal or irregular ejaculation, and painful erections, some lasting longer than normal. If a patient taking Cialis experiences an erection lasting longer than 4 hours they should seek medical attention. Cialis is found to cause low blood pressure or increased heart rate in some cases. There are many possible adverse drug interactions, especially involving heart and blood pressure medications, that should be discussed with a doctor before taking Cialis. When seeking any medication to improve sexual performance, all medications and complete medical history should be divulged to the prescribing doctor.
To save money on Cialis, also price your prescribed dosage in tadalafil before filling the prescription. A generic version of the same medication can be prescribed at any pharmacy unless the doctor as ordered it to be “dispensed as written”. Cialis is not FDA approved for women.
