The highly accurate hair drug test
A hair drug test is one of the more common types of drug tests that are available for people to take. The hair drug test is one of the most accurate drug tests because it can tell if someone has used drugs in the past 3 or even 6 months. Sometimes, if people have especially long hair, the hair drug test can even detect drugs that have been used longer than 6 months before hand. While most companies do not require people to take a hair drug test, some higher level jobs, and many government level jobs require their employees to take a hair drug test because it is so important that those people are on top of their game and or not interested in drugs as a recreational or habitual hobby.
While it is possible to detect drugs in a drug hair test that have been take up to 6 months ago, most accredited hair drug test will only test the first half inch of hair which usually corresponds to the past 30 days. Because of the great accuracy of a hair drug test, some people believe that they can shave their head to avoid the test. When this happens, all the officials have to do is to use arm hair or another form of body hair to complete the hair drug test. When people show up to a hair drug test without the proper amount of hair to perform the test, it is often grounds for not hiring that person. If someone is not doing drugs, they most likely would not go through all of the effort the be unable to take the hair drug test. On the contrary, only drug users would go through such great lengths to be unintelligible for the hair drug test. After the appropriate hair drug test comes back negative, most employees are taken aboard willingly.
