Urine drug testing is a procedure done to ensure that an individual is not or has not taken illegal and or dangerous substances. There are many ways to test an individual for an illegal substance and urine drug testing is one of the most common ways.

To use a home urine drug testing kit, locate a brand and make that you would feel comfortable using. When deciding which brand to use, remember there are many choices that look similar, but be sure to check what the results will be, and what the drug urine testing kit is able to pick up. Most drug urine tests cover a bunch of illegal drugs and will detect whatever it is that someone is testing the sample for.

Lab urine drug testing is done much the same as home urine drug testing, however rather than waiting for a chemical reaction on a strip, it is being examined by a laboratory technician.
