Take Home Drug Test
In today’s society drug abuse has become a very important issue. With new drugs being made everyday and an ever raging war on drugs being carried out by the governments of the world the idea for a home drug test was truly a gold mine. Companies making these products truly saw a need arise and filled it. Due to the above issues or drug and anti drug movements it was clear in the 70’s and 80’s that drug use would continue if not increase, and it was clear from the governments stand point that they would fight it. This left a huge area open, the area of proof, and with a home drug test kit they burden of proof can be laid to rest.
Today anyone can buy dozens of different home drug tests ranging from a tobacco detecting urine dip stick, to a cocaine detecting sheet. The tests come in all sorts of shapes, sizes, and are made by a number of different companies. However, regardless of make any take home drug test shares one common theme, they test for drugs. Although the number one uses of drug tests, employers, are not going to be using a take home drug test because of their need for professionalism and guaranteed results, the issue of a home drug test is still a very important issue today, not only for parents with teenagers, but also spouses who suspect drug abuse, worried grandmothers, concerned friends and family.
A home drug test, while not only being able to provide results to concerned friends and family, can also act as one of the greatest drug abuse deterrents out there. This is another fantastic advantage to having a home drug test around. If an individual knows that they will be tested randomly at some point by a parent or guardian, they are extremely less likely to experiment with drugs because they know they will be caught. However, there has been a growing anti home drug test movement and this has indeed brought some challenges to the table for a home drug test. Namely, those against they drug test, also in a capitalistic move, have developed chemical agents that are supposed to ‘clean’ ones system, or mask the drug use so that it will not be detected on the home drug test. Although not all of these work, some do and they have hampered the abilities of home drug tests. However that was just the beginning of the home drug test.
Now, in an effort to fight back many drug companies have developed new home drug test kits. Some of these new kits are specifically formulated to prevent any sort of foreign chemical form skewing the results of the test. And for those who are really looking to go the extra mile, there are now home drug test kits that will not only tell you that the individual has used some sort of body cleanser, but actually help you to determine which one it is. Regardless of which side one subscribes too, pro drug testing or anti drug testing it can be stated with all certainty that home drug test kits are here to stay, and they will only get better with time.
